Are humans,Primates

Well,i had this conversation with someone from my class
She says that we humans aren't primates
Honestly,i do belive we are primates for many reasons:
1)We have thumbs,Chimpanzees have thumbs,gorillas have thumbas,all other primates have thumbs
2)We have the same skeleton,only wiht different shapes and sizes
3)We're both intelligent mammals who use tools
4)Apes share 96% of our DNA
So,yeah,that's what i believe

I agree. I mean, we did evolve from primates.

I believe we both evolve from a more primitive primate but the evolution line split in two us one way and the modern primates we see today.

We belong to the primate family
