Is Megalodon Still Alive?

Post by The Texas Raptors on Sat Mar 05, 2011 2:30 am

Megalodon is assumed to have become extinct 10,000 years ago because of being so large and the dissaperance of prey due to newer, faster predators. But, 70-80% of the Earth's ocean hasn't been explored, so the possibility of it still living are unknown. Who knows? Megalodon could still live today, i don't wan't to find out, but they could still be living in the deepest parts of the ocean and never surface, and we would never know. Maybe the mutant great white shark still lurks the oceans, but if you do see one, do one thing : :SWIM!!!!

Actually, i think 70% of the ocean hasnt been explored.

Anyway, yes, i do belive that Megalodon has at least a possibility of still being alive.

well they probably lost the pigments of their skin, lost their eyes, and live in the darkness of the lower depths, and it's actually 80% of the ocean that isn't explored.
