JPOG Grass Re-Skin

Post by BenZooMaster on Sun Aug 14, 2011 10:50 am

A small, but good looking re-skin for your grass ingame.

Pics;

Installation Instructions;
Place the files inside the ZIP archive in the following directory.
C:\Program Files\Universal Interactive\Blue Tongue Software\Jurassic Park Operation Genesis\JPOG\Data\Terrain
A message should come up saying if you want to replace the current files, click on yes and now you have your new grass ready to use ingame. You might want to back up your current grass files in case you decide you don't like these ones.

Looks really nice, maybe the edges are a little too um... foggy? shiny? bright? can't name it, but beats original grass for sure Smile

Thank you both for the positive comments, they really mean a lot to me.
And abut the white appearing around the edges, that happens by default in the game with usermade grasses for some reason, even the on in the demo for Andres TCII has that white fog, it may be because of the fog that appears over long distances in the game, but I don't know.

I meant the transparent grass edges. They seem to be half-transparent at 1-pixel wide area and it creates the effect of something like morning dew. But it's just a minor, non-important detail. Andres' 1st environmental mod didn't have it, but most of the grass skins do, therefore i'll not bring it up again Cool

Keep up good work.
