Yes, it would. But it might or might not be possible, because there may not have been a programmed animation similar to what Gorsh pointed out in any of the dinos' models....

If I remember these animals sometimes stand up and then fall back on fours. Maybe this would be used as a "trample" animation or force display to scare predators away? Not counting the roars/honks meanwhile.

:agree Nice idea, and I did try that several times with the sauropods, the only thing is the carnivore gets trampled after the herbivore falls back on all fours. I'm still trying to figure out a way to make it look like the carnivore gets squished.

Example for a raptor to get crush and dies with one hit, since it's that small. The bigger one's can be knocked over and injured. ( not sure if this right ).

I just thought what if you didnt have the lookup animation in the attack so then it would look more like ramming then a head attack?

Doesnt work well most of the time. Also it only works for Triceratops. I more want to give torosaurus an accurate defence mechanism like this:
Toro spots predator hunting
Toro stays in place turns and roars n stuff at it sometimes scaring the predator
If predator gets right in Toros face he gives a flick of the horns or runs
Then runs away or scares predator off

You get me?

Hmm...I'll see what I can do.

BTW, I tried removing the look_up anim, and it didn't look so impressive ingame...it looked like it just lowered its head and the predator got knocked or stunned.

Wait a minute....I think I just found a good solution! How about, when the carnivore is a few metres from the Edmonto, it will lower its head, and once it is very close, it flicks its head! Does that sound ok?

Exactly. Planet Dinosaur happens to be what inspired me to make this mod. You know, the Edmontosaurus ramming the Troodon.

You know the edmontosaurus sounds you posted, the sounds are from the wild boar sfx's. Don't believe me? go and search it!. ( not forcing you )


P.S is there a way to make herbivores flee straight in herd's instead of running around in circle's and split up and got lost?.

Wow, this is an awesome mod! Finally Edmontosaurus is going to defend itself against an enemy. Now all you need to do is find a way for my scaredy-cat Camarasaurus to defend themselves. Razz

The Stegflee mod also sounds awesome. Does it also effect Ankys and Kentros or just Stego?
